The Song Sessions: "Cast My Cares" TIM TIMMONS

Cast your cares on the Almighty.... because He is good and cares for you.
He is faithful, God of mercy...
He is near to us.

Let us all cast our cares on Him....
because He loves us.

Be blessed today...
because He is God and we are not.
Be confident in this!

He's got it ALL covered.
Praise His Holy Name.

Let Hope In!

 Today... I need HOPE.

I look at my prayer journal and I hope...
not empty hope, but Hope in a God who is our Great Physician, our Mighty Warrior and Protector and also the Lover of our soul.
So I HOPE... Big, and in faith... because that is Who He is.

I hope healing for the young mom I watch from afar, with stage 4 breast cancer,
living a legendary life with a smile that takes your breath away. Her beauty is overwhelming as is her love of life.
She trusts in the One who made her, yet hates this disease robbing her of her young son.
I pray healing... in His name.

Another 20 something young mama, same disease.. a town away.
I don't know her, but reading her blog.. I find myself crying, amazed at her strength.
I pray healing on her young body, in Jesus name.
I am perplexed by this suffering....
and yet I Hope.

I hope for two young families in Paris. Perhaps both are on the mission field, one via a basketball, the other, a more common path, both... seen worthy.
I hope for them... to reach the lost, who they are surrounded by.
I hope for them, protection and joy in Him.

I hope for my children... not so child like.
I hope God's richest blessings on them, as they build relationships with others... and their God.
I hope for their sweet friends, the same.
I hope for long, joyful lives... built on Christ, and nothing less.

I hope for my husband, our marriage... to be faithful to God's call on our lives, everyday.

I hope for our church friends in ministry who have moved on... to new fields. I hope peace, encouragement and contentment for these young families.
I hope they are effective witnesses and in this world of self promotion... I pray that they would always promote Him, their Father God.
I hope these friends know how deeply we love them.

I hope for families we have left behind... still in the growing pains of young families. Others, feeling their family has been hijacked, as college came calling.
I hope these families find the path that God has been working out for them.
Paths of righteousness and mercy.
Places they will grow new roots, but deep in Him.

I pray for the families who have been faithful to adoption.
To those who have paved the way... and those preparing to board planes, beginning new chapters of joy and hard and all that goes along.
I hope you know we see you and love you.

I hope for the older population I see daily... you catch my eye.
I see your value, your wisdom, your joy.
You have lived rich and hurt deeply.
This comes with years.
I hope you know you are loved and seen as worthy.
I hope you know I desire your friendship.

I hope for the women God brings into my life.
Diverse backgrounds, ideas, values.
Some with rich faith, others wondering where it all went wrong.
I hope for them.
For the deep burdens and pains they carry.
I hope they know God sees them, carries each burden.

I hope for the church today.
The one I worship in Wichita.
I hope for them, God's rich merciful blessing and protection.
I see authenticity, transparency and I am blessed.
I hope I remember how faithful God was by showing us this church.
One we would not have chosen if left to ourselves.

I hope for the church in Nashville.
Diverse and complex.
Loving and full of grace.
I hope for God's protection as it grows.
I hope each soul finds a place, to be of value, worth, used... for His Kingdom.
No matter the color of hair or skin, wrinkled or child like.

I hope for the things of God.
I hope that I will remember that He is enough... more than enough.
I hope I remember... this life is but a vapor,
that I am here for His Glory, nothing more, nothing less.
My list grows endless... too long for this post, but not unheard to God.
He knows my heart, my burdens... He is my burden bearer,
my Hope.

If I am to succeed in today... for His glory, I must
Let Hope In.

Christ is my HOPE.

Because My God Can And Will Do The Impossible.

Will you join me today, giving it all to Him, who is able and worthy of His Name... and lives so that you may know His freedom, peace and Hope.
Do you believe that?

If you are searching for answers, may I suggest a book I found encouraging, answering questions and showing me new freedoms.
